The Malta International Table Tennis Centre is proud to have Daniel Bajada Malta's No.1 Ranked player, Mark Azzopardi Ranked No.2 and Claudio Tufigno Ranked No.4 representing Malta at the 2010 World Table Tennis Championships.
Malta will play in Group Q and to-day at 4p.m. they will play against Laos in their first match. The Maltese officials are Mario Genovese Coach and Johanna Grech Official Delegate.
ALL matches will have LIVE Scoring on www.ittf.com including the Maltese matches.
For the first time the Malta International Table Tennis Centre (Tarxien) have succeeded to win the 1st Division League title after narrowly beating Melita by 5-4 in a very interesting match played at the University Pavillion (Photo of League Champions Attached from left to right Daniel Bajada, Claudio Tufigno, Mark Azzopardi together with MTTA President Joe Borg Cardona). Valletta TTC have been relegated to Division II, whilst GO TTC will have to play a play-off match with San Gwann Flutisat to decide who will play in the top division next year.

The National Cadet players are currently taking part in the EuroKids Training Camp held at the University of Malta Sports Hall - they took detour just before the start of the camp to stage a training session at the MITTC Centre, sporting their new National Team Kits sponsored by Joola (Germany). |

The newly opened Malta International Table Tennis Centre situated in Tarxien has just finished it's first Term of Training Sessions for it's cadet and junior players with a Ranking Tournament held last Saturday. Adam Zouari won the Boys' Event whilst young talent Roberta Bajada won the Girls' Event. |

On Sunday 9th November, an Open Day for members of the Malta Table Tennis Association was organized, which included two tournaments for youth players.

In the second day of the National League organised by the Malta Table Tennis Association reigning champions Attard Tibhar saw off newly promoted team of Fleur De Lys 9-0.
However the surprise of the day was the victory made by MITTC Stars who beat in a very close match by 5-4 the more quoted Melita Team.
